Special Care Nursery

Nothing is more frightening than your newborn requiring a stay in the hospital. We realize how stressful this can be, and we are here to help.

Our Special Care Level II Nursery provides the advanced care needed by most high risk infants. This means these babies can stay at Major Hospital with their mothers instead of being transported to another facility.

We provide many important services to high risk infants including:

Antibiotics
Extended care for stable premature infants
Fluid support
Respiratory support
